Privacy policy

This policy covers https://statutorypay.co.uk. It is written under Articles 12 to 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), which applies to the publisher established in France, and takes account of the UK GDPR for visitors in the United Kingdom.

1. Controller

contact@statutorypay.co.uk

Contact: contact@statutorypay.co.uk. No data protection officer is appointed: the conditions of Article 37 are not met.

2. What the calculators never collect

Dates of birth, start dates, pay, due dates and sickness dates are processed only in your browser. They are not sent to a server, not stored by us and not linked to you. The share link writes your inputs into the page address; it only travels where you send it.

3. Processing that does take place

Hosting logs

The host records IP address, date and time, page requested, browser and referring page, for security and to keep the service running. Legal basis: legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)). Retention: under the host’s policy.

Anonymous stability monitoring with Microsoft Clarity, no cookies

The publisher records no personal data about you. To keep the site working, it uses Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, Dublin) in cookie-free mode: for each page view, errors, loading times, clicks that lead nowhere and scrolling are measured without any cookie and without linking visits, with page content and inputs masked. Microsoft receives the technical data of the request, including the IP address from which an approximate location is derived, and keeps recordings for 30 days and aggregated data for up to 13 months. Legal basis: legitimate interest in a site that works (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR and UK GDPR; with no cookie, regulation 6 of PECR is not engaged); no cookie or identifier is kept on your device. You can object at any time by blocking clarity.ms or by writing to us. There is no advertising.

Emails

If you write to us, your address and message are used to reply. Legal basis: legitimate interests. Kept for three years after the last exchange.

4. Recipients

Nobody buys your data. The host acts as a processor under Article 28; Microsoft processes the technical data of the stability monitoring.

5. Transfers

The host, GitHub, Inc., is in the United States; log data may be processed there under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, the UK extension to it, and standard contractual clauses. Stability data held by Microsoft Corporation may be processed there on the same basis.

6. Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability (Articles 15 to 22): write to contact@statutorypay.co.uk; we answer within a month. You may complain to the Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés (CNIL) (https://www.cnil.fr) or, in the United Kingdom, to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

7. No automated decision

A calculator result is produced at your request and has no legal effect on you: it is not a decision within Article 22.
