Reporting an error

Send the address of the page, the share link of the calculator (it carries your inputs, nothing else) and, if you can, the official text that contradicts us: a section of the Employment Rights Act, a GOV.UK guide, an HMRC table, an Acas or nidirect page. Confirmed errors are corrected and added to the tests, as set out in the editorial policy.

Embedding a calculator

Unions, advice centres, HR teams and journalists can embed the redundancy pay calculator in an iframe, free of charge. The code is on the embed page.

What we cannot do

We cannot advise on an individual dispute, read contracts or represent anyone. Acas (0300 123 1100) in Great Britain and the Labour Relations Agency in Northern Ireland give free advice; Citizens Advice can help too.

Response time

Usually within five working days, corrections first. Every figure is reviewed at least every 12 months and each April.
